人種誌戲劇演出－《「樂」地生根》

少數族裔遠渡重洋，在港落地生根，為融入香港社會而調整自身生活及文化習慣，適應本地文化習俗，其實本地華人又何嘗不是？無數華人社群也是從內地因著各種原因來港落戶。創作團隊採用人種誌戲劇（Ethnodrama）的理念，親身訪尋少數族裔與華人落地生根的故事，發掘彼此聯繫，省思我們安居樂業的源由及期盼。

Ethnodrama Performance－Taking Root

Members of ethnic minority groups travelled a long way to settle down in Hong Kong. Their indigenous life and culture have undergone constant negotiation with local Chinese culture. This has also happened to the Chinese community. The ancestors of a large number of Chinese came to live in Hong Kong for diverse reasons. Guided by the ethnodrama methodology, our performance will be devised from direct interviews with both Chinese and ethnic minority groups, whose parents were not born in Hong Kong. We aim to investigate why and how they have come to and settle down in Hong Kong for a better life. Apart from our appearances, are we really so different?
